    Course: Salad
    Cuisine: American

    Ingredients Equipment Method Notes

    Ingredients

    • 5 oz tuna packed in water drained
    • ¼ cup carrot grated
    • ¼ cup Sriracha Mayonnaise
    • ¼ cup red pepper diced
    • 1 TBSP onion grated
    • 1 clove garlic minced
    • 1 TBSP dill pickles finely diced
    • 1 TBSP fresh lemon juice
    • salt and black pepper to taste

    Equipment

    • strainer
    • box grater
    • Garlic press
    • pepper grinder

    Method

    1. Drain the tuna. I like to use a small strainer.
    2. Grate the carrot, mince the garlic.
    3. In a medium bowl, mix all ingredients.
    4. Season with salt and freshly ground pepper.
    5. Serve with homemade bread

    Notes

For the Sriracha Mayonnaise, using Heinz Mayoracha Spicy Mayo is a nice spicy choice. However, if you prefer, use a plain mayonnaise.

      5 stars
Hanna, this recipe is a delightful change from my usual tuna salad.
Especially like the grated carrot, red pepper and garlic. 🙂
